The clock strikes twelve,
I creep out,
Into The Pearl Aqua Night.
The air is full of music,
It fills my lungs with adrenaline.
The road is covered in diamonds,
Yet, they don’t hurt my bare feet.
I see you,
Upon a hill,
I count five.
Why is it so hard to reach out to you?
Why is it so hard to understand you?
But why am I so drawn to you?
I come closer,
Yet, you remain in a haze.
But I can hear you,
Your voices melting away my troubles.
I lie down,
I see the blue moon,
It calms the raging adrenaline,
And it tells me,
You have worked hard, Now rest in my embrace.
